LEREM is equipped with the necessary facilities to study a majority of the technical aspects of metal packaging.

 

Storage with temperature cycles

 

LEREM has two ovens of 50 and 100 litres able to be programmed from -25°C to +150°C for studying container/content pair during periods of several months with temperature cycles.

Lacquer analysis by means of Fourier Transform Infra Red spectroscopy,
Searching for water traces in non aqueous products using the Karl Fisher method,
Measurement of varied physico-chemical characteristics (pH, tin content, viscosity, flash point...),
Various vapour-phase chromatographic analyses (catharometer or flame ionization).
